DMC 4

I am such a sucker for slasher/mindless action games, and have been waiting to buy DMC 4 (PC version) for ages.

However, when it was finally released, I was stuck in the usual dilemma of weighting cost against entertainment.

But...my compulsive buying habit once again took over rationality.

Bought it this Saturday, and had a long, painful wait for installation.

When all essential items for the game-playing ritual were prepared (i.e. beer, chips...the usual stuff.), I happily took my position to start.

Then, it happened.

The BSOD -- Blue Screen Of Death!

In the end, instead of my perfectly planned out 5-hour-gameplay session, I had to make do with 30 minutes before reluctantly retiring to bed.

Boo hoo hoo, so much for a first experience!

But that doesn't mean later experiences weren't good ;D

At the moment I'm up to Mission 5, blindly slaying monsters and very content with C's. Only one problem though -- it makes me want to stay up late D:

PS: The BSOD was solved by updating the driver software for Nividia 7300 GT. Configurations set to high resolution and shadowing, but low overall quality. The game does work with AMD and 7300 series, although I should have saved more money before I bought my PC 2 years ago -- 1 gig memory is always short of being enough for multi-tasking.
